As a Chiropractic physician, my primary focus is on listening to my patients
; I listen to what they say, and I listen to their bodies. Often, their
words lead me understand their symptoms on many levels, and their bodies
direct me as to where to look, how the problems are connected in their
bodies, where to start, and what to do in order to help their systems
become re-aligned.
In order to do this, I utilize many techniques:
I visualize their bodies in health, and in their present physical and
energetic form.
I hold onto the image of their systems in health, as I work with their
bodies.
I simultaneously listen to the voice of their bodies. Often this comes
to me in a real voice, as I actually hear words and emotions emanating
from certain body areas, as well as directions as to what techniques to
employ to help to facilitate their bodies towards health. |

I utilize many muscle balancing
techniques, as muscles and connective tissue, fascia, ligaments and tendons
connect to bones. I check to see what direction the muscles and connective
tissue need to bring relief, as I have them actually move their body parts
in designated directions to assist the healing.
I use acupressure techniques, cranial fascial techniques, nimmo and muscle
testing, foot reflexology, as I also recommend various herbs, vitamins,
minerals, homeopathics, etc. to assist the healing process.
In addition, I show and recommend exercises, stretching, and different
body techniques to rebuild the body, including 3 dimensional body movements
to re educate body areas towards reconnection and strengthening.
I also assist with lifestyle changes regarding food and diets, and check
food allergies and use techniques such as TBM to desensitize clients to
foods they are allergic or sensitive to. |

| The time was 2003. I was relatively
a “new patient” of Dr. Gail. While working full time, I injured
myself on the job. Although I received medical care and physical therapy
reimbursed through my employer, I continued to experience chronic excruciating
pain. The medication made me drowsy, (I was already on 20 mg. of paxil for
another chronic health problem), so I stopped the medication. The physical
therapy was like a small band aid on a gushing wound. The pain seemed to
worsen However, thanks to Dr. Gail weekly treatments of deep muscle work,
acupuncture and homeopathic muscle relaxants she prescribed, I was able
to complete the employment contract without any missed work. Dr.Gails’s
methods were compassionate and grounded with a full knowledge of the needs
of my body. Since, then, I have relied upon Dr. Gail as a faithful confidante
for any chronic or acute healthcare need for me or my family. Having
a treatment (office visit) is akin to a learning experience. Often, I
gain new information on how the human body works and/or how various treatment
modalities impact the human body. Many a day, I walk away with a new suggestion,
recipe or even a yoga pose. She is the first person I speak to before
seeking medical intervention from a board certified physician. Dr. Gail
is straight forward a s well, and will let you know when you need to seek
medical intervention. Dr Gail quickly responds to emergency phone calls
and will advise a quick natural, healthy fix until the next office visit.
Yes, Dr. Gail does, in fact, listen to the voice of your body while responding
and healing! Dr.Gail’s periodical monitoring and the support of
my family, I safely weaned myself of paxil. I truly believe it was keeping
me sick and tired, anwway. |

| I have been working with Gail Cloud
for several years and have watched her continuously learn and integrate
new modalities into her chiropractic work. She has a special gift of intuition
that she uses whether she is doing clinical kinesiology, herbs, acupuncture/acupressure,
traditional chiropractic, energy healing, or family constellation work.
She has a way of asking the body what it needs. I feel that her approach
is completely holistic in the sense that the mind/body connection is always
of the utmost importance. The newest level of healing that she has incorporated
includes the aspects of our life that we can not always access as it comes
from past family hurts and traumas that get carried through the family system.
I feel privileged to have my health care; spiritual, emotional, and physical
attended to by her able and gentle hands . Ruth Asher, MSW. |
